"What's Up Doc?" is a Doc Martens Zine that explores the evolution of Doc Martens from work boot to fashion. It discusses the lesser-known side of Docs in a spirited tone and calls attention to some facts that have been erased by history. There is a total of 8 pages with each spread embodying a different scrapbook style based on various art styles of the decades.

Takeaways
This was a speed assignment designed to reflect on the history of an object in a visually captivating way. I learned the importance of artistic experimentation and knowing your audience.
Experimentation:
Don’t be afraid to try new styles and learn new skills. The grunge collage style was a new exploration for me, and I am pleased with the results.
Design does not have to be perfect and can be done for practice or fun, so do not put pressure on every detail. Let go and be open to the creativity!
Audience:
Think of the audience that would interact with your project and reflect on what appeals to them.
Try to be inclusive and accessible to everyone because that is what the Zine platform is designed to accomplish.
